I'll be back to more Ultimate topics soon enough, although I won't be able to see Central Regionals this weekend.

I just wanted to let you all know that Shaq is quite possibly one of the funniest people alive. Via a Bill Simmons link, read Dan Le Batard's Miami Herald interview with Shaq. It includes such gems as:
"Last time I looked at a check, I said to myself, `Who the hell is FICA? And when I meet him, I'm going to punch him in the face. Oh my God, FICA is killing me.'"

The Classic

The club season is looming. I'm jogging with the pup, running stairs and hills and such. I was down at Olaf for a work seminar and stopped by the fields to play some Goaltimate with the Olaf team and Coach David Truesdale before Sectionals and was pleasantly surprised to find that I'm in much better shape that I thought I was.

However, the real purpose of this post is to tell you to watch more ESPN Classic. Today alone I was able to catch Liverpool beating Chelsea in a shootout to advance to the Champions League Final (which was just earlier today) and American freaking Gladiators! (People forget that Joe Theismann was a color commentator on this show when it started). And you thought the channel was just for watching old NBA games with guys in short shorts.
